Academy Of Pastry Arts Bengaluru : Berry Vanilla Gateau by Chef Kimberly
One of my favorite ways to pass time is watching videos of gorgeous desserts and exotic bakes. I might not be the artsy baker but nothing stops me from watching and admiring the amazing bakes people dish up.
An invitation for attending a live demo at Academy Of Pastry Arts, Bangalore was something I wouldn’t have missed for anything.
French bakes have always impressed me. The techniques, the precision and the flawless presentation.
Chef Kimberly showed us how to make this Berry Vanilla Gateau and was kind enough to share the recipe too.
The making of this modern French pastry is definitely a treat to watch . Every single layer, be it the chocolate sponge, the jelly insert, the mousse or the super red glaze has to be made perfectly to make the final dessert phenomenal. Needless to say this takes quite a bit of time and effort.

Super organised and with the best equipments possible, this place is a cooking enthusiast’s heaven. Good teachers make great students. Their visiting faculty have masterchefs from all over the world which really opens up the possibility of students here to learn different techniques and skills.
