Instructions
  1. Sieve the whole wheat flour, jowar flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda together 3-4 times.
  2. Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix the milk and curd together. Set aside for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the sugar and mix well until it dissolves.
  5. Add the oil and beat with a balloon whisk for about 1 minute.
  6. Fold in the sieved flour gently until no lumps remain. [the batter would feel fluffy]
  7. Grease two ramkins or two large cupcake molds.
  8. Spoon the batter into the greased ramkins. [Fill about a quarter first]
  9. Place 2 squares of dark chocolate in the center and spoon a little more batter on top to cover it. [ The ramkin must be filled to just about a little more than half. Not beyond that or it will overflow while baking]
  10. Bake in the pre heated oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes or just until the top looks set.
  11. Remove from the oven and unmold after 3-5 minutes. Serve warm.
Recipe Notes

Notes-

Oven temperature and time may vary. Bake just until the top sets.

I used Amul's dark chocolate. You can use any good dark chocolate to get a lovely gooey lava.

In case you have smaller ramkins, you can make 3 lava cakes instead of two, using the above recipe. You would only need a couple of pieces more of the dark chocolate in that case.

Happy Baking
