Instructions
  1. Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  2. Sift the dry ingredients together.
  3. Add the butter [soft but not melted] and combine well.
  4. Mix the curd ,1 tbsp at a time, and knead into a soft dough.
  5. Take a lemon sized ball of dough and roll out into a thin oblong 'chappati'.
  6. Using a sharp knife, cut narrow long strips.
  7. Take individual strips, holding the ends with both your hands, twist them in a spiral fashion. [You may also shape them using cookie cutters]
  8. Place them on a greased and lined baking tray.
  9. Bake them at 150 degrees for 10 minutes.
  10. Turn them over and bake for 5 minutes more. [Until they turn light brown in colour]
  11. Cool and store in an air tight jar.

Notes-

Oven temperature and time may vary. Bake just until the twisters turn a light brown.

In case you use salted butter, skip the salt in the recipe.

You can also use a mixture of other healthy flours to make these.
