  • 1 Tomato [large and firm]-
  • 1/4 cup Puffed rice -
  • 1/4 cup carrot Grated -
  • 1/4 cup radish Grated -
  • 2 tbsps groundnuts Roasted spicy -
  • 2 tsps mint coriander chutney Green and -
  • 2 tbsps chutney Sweet and sour -
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala -
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder -
  • 1/2 tsp Oil -

  • 1/4 cup Puffed rice -
  • 1/4 cup carrot Grated -
  • 1/4 cup radish Grated -
  • 2 tbsps groundnuts Roasted spicy -
  • 2 tsps mint coriander chutney Green and -
  • 2 tbsps chutney Sweet and sour -
  • 1 tsp Chaat masala -
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder -
  • 1/2 tsp Oil -
Instructions
  1. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices and arrange them on a plate.
  2. Lightly fry the puffed rice/ bhel in 1/2 tsp oil . Add the salt and chilli powder, and give a mix. Set aside. [Fry just until the puffed rice turns crisp]
  3. Assembling the chaat- Sprinkle some chaat- masala on the tomato slices. Top the tomato slices with a few roasted spicy groundnuts, followed by the green and sweet-sour chutneys. Add a little grated carrot and radish on top. Sprinkle the chat masala once again. And finally cover it up with the crispy puffed rice.
  4. Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes

Notes-

I used store bought masala peanuts. You may make roasted peanuts at home and use the same.

I have posted the recipes of both the green chutney and the sweet sour tangy chutney. You can easily prepare them in advance and store them for a couple of days refrigerated.

Adjust the amount of salt according to your taste. Do keep in mind that the masala peanuts and the chutneys have some salt content too.
