Triple Cheese Frozen Treat

After the success of my Mascarpone Ice cream, I was quite confident about this one. This ice cream has a nice rich texture and is not too sweet. And no not ‘cheesy’ either.

I honestly made this to finish up the last bit of the cream cheese and mascarpone cheese lying in my fridge. Plus I din’t really feel like putting too much effort. So all I did was blend all the ingredients together and freeze , yay you got some yummy cold dessert.

Recipe Notes
  • You may use sugar in place of condensed milk or even honey. But condensed milk gives a thicker creamier texture. The other option is to use a mix of both. You may adjust the sweetness according to your taste. [ TIP- A bit of honey would cut down the 'cheesy' flavour]
  • For preparing the hung curd- Line a sieve with a muslin cloth and pour 2 cups of curd into it. Place the sieve over a larger vessel to collect the whey water. Bring the ends of the muslin cloth together and squeeze out the excess water. Rest for an hour or so for the remaining water to drain out. You can then use the 'curd cheese' for any recipe.
  • A good quality Vanilla extract gives the best result.
