My kids love the flavour of coconut milk in jellos. You can make this with just plain milk too.

If fresh turmeric rhizome is easily available do use it. It gives the best result.

Have fun and hope your kids love this.

  • Hi akhila, I am an engineer and the engineering classes never taught me to cook. So I have a couple of silly questions. What is coconut milk? I only know coconut water. Where do I get gelatin powder and is it safe for kids?

    • Hi coconut milk is the liquid you get if you squeeze a fistful of freshly grated coconut. You can use store bought tetrapacked coconut milk Too. You can use agar agar too. Anything given in too much quantity isn’t good for health. But a small treat once in a while should be ok.I wouldn’t recommended it for kids less than 2 yrs old though.
